Writing | Arcadia Dreams

It wasn't the pond in Arcadia that reminded Wildflower of home, but it was the dreams that she had been having during her long nights sleeping next to the pond.

This night was different, she had never dreamt more clearly about her mother. This was, in fact, the first time she had heard her mothers voice since the day she saw her last. Her loving mother walking near to her, bending down and running her hands through Wildflowers while telling her that "everything will be okay."

Wildflower sprung up from the ground where she was sleeping, her heart beating rapidly, she stepped outside of her small makeshift tent to have a look around.

"Mother? Mother?!" she cried out for a moment. Then the fog fell from her mind and she took a deep breath.

It was true, her mother was not there with her on this night at the pond in Arcadia, at least not in the physical form.
She wrote down in her journal and promised to never forget the dream she had at the pond in Arcadia, the night she saw her mother again as if she had never passed away.
